I will fight for local control and proper planning in response to state mandates.  On the council I will be proactive to establish community goals because we know Orange, our treasured neighborhoods, and its needs better than Sacramento!

 

It is important that our elected officials and staff stay attentive to developing legislation and register our interests early in the process.  I will be at the table to influence those decisions.  We also need to stay aligned with regional partners to push for solutions together for common problems and earn the financial support we deserve.  Orange has been absent and failed in advancing our regional interests which means we continually fall behind.  I will correct that disconnect the first day in office.
