Meet Adrienne Gladson

Her vision for our community is centered on keeping Orange:

  • Restore proper planning and responsive code enforcement to improve our quality of life and protect our neighborhoods


Adrienne's leadership style is to talk less and listen more.  She believes all who live, work, learn, worship, or own a business in our community should be given every opportunity to thrive.  She works to tear down walls and makes ample room for everyone at the table. 


Adrienne is for Orange

Adrienne is a homeowner having lived in Orange for over three decades.   She has deep roots of service in the community which includes: Orange Community Foundation, Orange Community Historical Society, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Old Towne Preservation Association, Orange Rotary, Pitcher Park Foundation, Orange Master Chorale, Santiago Greenway Alliance, Orange Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Orange Public Library, and the YWCA of Central Orange County.


Adrienne Gladson was elected as President of the Orange Community Historical Society in 1994 and served until 1999.  She graduated from Leadership Orange in 1996.  In 2007, the City Council unanimously appointed her to the Orange Design Review Committee and the Planning Commission in 2011 through 2017.  She was selected by her Commission colleagues as Chair from April 2015 - March 2017.    

Adrienne proudly supports the history of Orange and its commitment to preservation. Protecting this legacy requires continual stewardship and the will to stay the course. As a Planning Commissioner, Adrienne has kept the promise of protecting our cultural resources and neighborhoods and she will continue to do so as our Mayor.  You can trust that our Orange values and quality of life will be protected as she serves us on the Council.
